Trying To Get It Off My Chest (Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson)
Met Ian and Mick when I was playing with Tim Hardin at The Other End. They came to the shows every night. We became friends and it was a real buzz for me as I was a fan of the two of them.
We were staying at The Mayflower hotel while I was recording my second LP for Atlantic and Mick and Ian were producing Ellen Foley's album. We would gather at the Mayflower Bar for a few drinks and a lot of laughs.
